Volantra, otherwise known as Cheryl Brind, is a Scottish based artist.
By the age of four Cheryl had a keen enthusiasm for art and craft, which quickly became the foundation of her future career prospects, to be able to teach others the skills she had acquired. Now 26 years old, Cheryl continues her passion by studying a BA in Site Specific Design at a local Scottish college and hopes to very soon be training towards becoming a secondary school Art teacher.
Cheryl's art work mainly consists of lens based work. The camera has become an extra limb in which she is able to capture the required composition of her surroundings and interpret them in her own way through use of mixed media.
